Our Laser Cutting Technologies
At the heart of MOR/ryde’s capabilities is our investment
in laser cutting technology ranging from 3000 to 5000 watt
machines. In fact, MOR/ryde was one of the first companies
in North America to introduce 5000 watt laser cutting machines
into production (See the Modern Metals Article to the Right).
Our use of laser cutting technology is a key component in
our ability to quickly turnaround quotes, prototypes and small
and large production runs. Laser technology also allows us
to make quick design revisions to meet your ever-changing
demands.
Our high-powered lasers can produce complex part designs
efficiently and accurately. We process a variety of materials,
including hot-rolled steel up to 3/4”, stainless steel
up to 3/4” and aluminum up to 5/8”. Sheet sizes
can be as large as 5 x 10 feet. Tubing size can be as large
as 3” and up to 3/8” wall thickness. Our forming
capability is up to 12 ft. - 250 ton maximum.
